Where African talent actually researches employers.

employers.africa is a CareerBuddy property. Much of the researcher intent on this platform is a job seeker deciding whether to apply to your next role.

Questions employers ask us.

How do you verify a claim?

The fastest path is a work email on your company's domain, confirmed with a one-click link. If you use a shared inbox or a personal address we ask for one extra signal: a LinkedIn match, a note from your CEO or CHRO, or a domain DNS TXT record. Verification usually completes within one business day.

Can I pay to move up the rankings?

No. The 2026 List and every industry ranking are computed from researcher interest, hiring activity and CareerBuddy placement data. Sponsored slots exist, they are always labelled, and they sit outside the ranking.

What data do you show us about who is researching us?

Paid tiers see aggregate researcher intent: total profile views, top referrers, seniority breakdown from CareerBuddy's placement graph, and which peer employers people also researched. Nothing is exposed at an individual level.

We already have a careers page. Why also list here?

Few African employers actually rank for their own name on Google. A rich employers.africa profile fills the results page with what job seekers really search for, from 'is this a good place to work' to salary and careers queries, then routes them to your open roles. Many claimed employers link their careers page straight to their profile here.

Employer branding, built for the African market

employers.africa exists because job seekers on the continent do not have a great place to research who they are applying to. Glassdoor's African coverage is thin, LinkedIn is a network rather than a directory, and most local job boards optimise for the role instead of the employer. This is the layer that sits between search and apply: the page a job seeker opens after they Google your name and before they open your careers page.

For companies, that means the employer branding work you do here compounds. Every industry, country and city page you appear on funnels researcher intent to your profile. Every paid tier layers on top of a permanent free listing, so you never lose visibility for pausing, and you never pay for basic presence.
